Dubai breaks another Guinness world record with the Dubai Frame

In case you needed another excuse to visit

Standing at 150 meters high and 93 meters wide, the world's largest frame is made-up of 2,000 tons of steel and 2,900 square meters of laminated glass. It is also covered in 15,000 square meters of gold stainless steel giving its signature golden glow

Opened in early 2018, visitors can enjoy views of old and new Dubai from the tower’s panoramic deck. Given its location in Zabeel Park, it takes visitors through the story of Dubai’s transformation from its beginnings to the modern metropolis it is today.

The official world’s 'largest building in the shape of a picture frame' by the Guinness World Records, is the latest addition to the ever-growing list of records for the city of Dubai.

Some of the UAE's other Guinness World Records include the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, while Sharjah holds the record for the world’s largest flag flown.
